Position Overview
As a Unit Manager, you will supervise and support nursing staff, ensure that each resident receives appropriate care, and assist with the daily operations of the nursing department in compliance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Schedule:
Full-Time Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee nursing staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the highest standards of care.
Monitor and evaluate resident care plans, ensuring they align with individual needs and facility policies.
Conduct regular rounds to assess resident well-being and staff performance.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies.
Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid license in the state of Indiana.
Experience: Proven experience as a Nurse Manager or Supervisor in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
